A slow-moving low pressure system centered over northeastern North Carolina will continue to drive widespread clouds and isolated showers into our region.
FRIDAY FORECAST: Expect more clouds and perhaps a few spotty showers. Sun breaks are possible, but clouds will be the rule. Highs in the low 70's.
WEEKEND FORECAST: Clouds could break for a few sun intervals. Shower chance: 20% Saturday and 30% Sunday. Highs: mainly mid to upper 70s amid light northwest breezes.
A PEEK INTO NEXT WEEK: Expect partly sunny skies most days with mostly cloudy skies hanging on Monday. Daily high temperatures mainly in the upper 70s. Rain chances will remain low.
TROPICAL OUTLOOK: A disturbance in the eastern Atlantic Ocean has a chance to become a tropical depression or storm by Friday. However, this system would not likely go on to impact North America.
