COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) - The Columbus County Sheriff's Office has released new information regarding the deadly shooting in a home outside of Tabor City Tuesday night.
Captain David Nobles with the Columbus County Sheriff's Department says deputies responded to a reported shooting at 332 Shug Norris Road around 6 p.m. Tuesday. When the deputies entered the home they found 20-year-old Lee Travis Wright dead. Preliminary investigations show that Wright was shot once in chest.
They say a second man, 25-year-old Jonathan Elgin Long, was found shot multiple times. Long lives at the address where the shooting took place. He was taken to the Loris Hospital. His condition has not yet been released. It appears Long has a past criminal record.
Officers released new information in this case Wednesday afternoon suggesting that multiple intruders entered the mobile home while Wright was visiting Long. They say no motive for the shooting has been determined at this time. Officers are in the process of tracking down several individuals, thought to be witnesses in this case.

The Chief Medical Examiner has not yet provided the details from the autopsy conducted on Wright's body.
