Arrest made in connection to attempted robbery at West End hotel

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A man has been arrested in connection to an attempted hotel robbery in Nashville Thursday morning.

Police have charged a suspect for allegedly holding up a desk clerk with a pellet gun at the Hampton Inn on West End Avenue.

The suspect, Juan Walker, has been charged with aggravated robbery.

Police say he pointed a gun in the clerk's face and demanded money before taking off.

A security guard tracked Walker, and he was eventually found on 17th Avenue and Broadway with a gun in his bag.
