BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WECT) - A man from Bladen County pleaded guilty Monday to felony charges involving a juvenile.
Gregory Hester from Bladenboro pleaded guilty to the felonies of solicitation to deliver a controlled substance to a minor and crime against nature. He was sentenced to between 28 and 34 months in the Department of Corrections, but that sentence was suspended in favor of five years on probation.
According to a news release, Hester solicited to provide Xanax to minors in his care in 2011 and sexually assaulted a minor female in his home.
As part of his plea deal, Hester will serve 90 days on house arrest and have no contact with the minor victims in the case. He is also not allowed to be alone with a minor during his probation.
