WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Tired of traffic in Wilmington? The Wilmington Metropolitan Planning Organization (WMPO) is giving you a chance to voice your ideas on how to make transportation in our region better.
WMPO will be hosting a series of open houses the week of September 23. The first open house is on Monday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Froden Station located at 505 Condo St. Another open house will take place Monday evening from6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Halyburton Park located at 4099 S. 17th Street.
WMPO will also host an open house at the Pender County Library (Hampstead Branch 75 Library Drive) on Tuesday, September 24 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
WMPO is seeking input to help develop the Cape Fear Transportation 2040 plan for our region. They are also asking the public to take a 16 question survey to help develop the Cape Fear Transportation 2040.
