PENDER COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Three people in Pender County pleaded guilty Wednesday to violating the law regarding electronic sweepstakes, according to District Attorney Ben David.
William Bostic, Jr., Terry Payne, and Brenda Whiteside pleaded guilty to the establishment of an electronic sweepstakes parlor. The equipment was sent to the sheriff's office to be destroyed. The money earned at the parlor will now go to Pender County Schools, according to the release.
