BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WECT) - The Bladen County Planning Board voted in favor of a proposed gun rage Tuesday night.
The gun range would be located on a 180-acre farm owned by a retired Army General, David Grange. It would be used for training purposes for retired military and law enforcement officials.
According to Bladen Online, residents at the meeting expressed concerned about the safety of their horses and a decrease in property value of homes near the range.
The Planning Board voted 5-3 to move forward with the project.
