Breezy, cloudy, and cooler

Breezy, cloudy, and cooler: three things to describe today's forecast.  The cold front from Monday evening has pushed well south of our area, and in it's wake, cooler air is blowing in.  Winds today will be from the northeast between 10-15mph.  Expect to see mostly cloudy skies today, and though we could see an isolated shower at any time, the chance is slim.  Highs will only reach into the low to mid 70s.

Wednesday continues in this pattern, with a good amount of cloud cover, and a slight chance for a passing shower.  Highs remain in the low to mid 70s, though the breeze should back off to about 5-10mph.

Thursday and Friday we start to warm back up again.  The high pressure from early in the week begins to move off the coast, so we'll see a wind shift, bringing less cool air.  Rain chances stay low, with partly cloudy skies and highs reaching back into the middle 70s and low 80s.

Over the weekend, a cold front will push through the area.  We're expecting Saturday to bring scattered rain showers ahead of the front, with highs holding off near 80° Upstate and back in the middle 70s for the mountains.  Showers will become more frequent into the overnight hours, with lingering rain on Sunday.
