WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Handmade Wilmington, a group of local artists, held a pop-up artisan market Sunday at Hanover Center.
The outdoor market offered everything from handmade soap to origami to jewelry.
Booth fees and proceeds from a raffle will support Holly Larue Frizzelle, a three year old from Carolina Beach who is battling leukemia.
"As part of what we do, we just try and help all of our local organizations that are doing good for the community," said Lea Bullard, president of Handmade Wilmington,
The organization's previous events have benefited non-profits including Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Cape Fear River Watch.
