WILMINGTON, NC (FOX WILMINGTON) – The headless horseman, witches and cops are coming together for FOX's Sleepy Hollow, which can be seen on FOX Wilmington Monday at 9:00 p.m.

Orlando Jones, who plays a police captain in the show, explains the new take on the classic story of Ichabod Crane's clash with the headless horseman.

"Ichabod cuts the guys head off they drop fall dead and their bloodlines mix," he said. "They wake up 250 years later because Ichabod didn't come back from the dead, the horseman has been awoken because he's one of the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse and the war is on."

Jones promises the show will only get bigger from there.

Sleepy Hollow is filming its first season in Wilmington. The show's creators have said the city makes a perfect town of Sleepy Hollow, because of the mix of modern and historic buildings and locations.

The show has also been filming inside the largest stage at EUE Screen Gems Studios.

However, don't expect to see local scenes in the first episode. It was shot in Salisbury.

After tuning in Monday night, stick around for FOX Wilmington News at 10. We will have an exclusive look at the second episode. Plus, we are talking to the group that's casting extras and we'll tell you what you how you can be a part of the production.
