WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Some Burger King employees were robbed at gun point in Wilmington around 11:30 Tuesday night as they were getting in their cars to leave, according to police.
WPD spokesperson Linda Rawley said two men jumped out of the bushes and forced the employees out of their vehicles and to lay on the ground.
According to police, one man had a revolver and the other had an automatic handgun. One of the men had his face covered with a "Jason" hockey mask, and the other had his face covered with a blue bandana.
Rawley said the suspects took personal property from the employees and then forced them to unlock the Burger King. They stole money from the safe and ran away.
Authorities said no one was injured during the incident.
