A warm high pressure system will govern our forecast through Thursday. A cold front will pass Friday. A cool high pressure system will build behind the front and bring some fall-like weather for the weekend.
WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY FORECAST: Mornings may begin foggy in spots. Otherwise, expect partly sunny skies. Shower and thunderstorm chances will stay low: near 10% Wednesday and near 20% Thursday. Daytime highs will be in the 80s to locally near 90.
FRIDAY THROUGH WEEKEND FORECAST: Friday's shower and thunderstorm chance will be an elevated 40%. Rain chances will trend to near 0% for the weekend. Expect highs near 85 Friday but cooler 70s to near 80 for Saturday and Sunday. Saturday night may even feature temperatures in the 50s!
TROPICAL AREAS OF INTEREST:
- Tropical Storm Humberto, near Africa, may organize into a hurricane Tuesday night but remains not a great threat to cross the Atlantic Ocean.
-Tropical Storm Gabrielle has redeveloped near Bermuda Tuesday and may bring rain squalls to southeastern Canada this weekend.
