Wilmington help for Affordable Care Act

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) -  As of October 1, 2013, those who are uninsured can start enrolling for subsidized insurance plans by going to online insurance markets, also called exchanges, to shop for a private plan and find out if they qualify for a tax credit.

To help make the transition to the stipulations of the Affordable Care Act easier, 'Get Covered America' is hosting an open house at the New Hanover County library downtown, at 201 Chestnut Street Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. on the third floor.
