BISBEE, AZ (CBS5) -

Arizona authorities are seeking three "persons of interest" in connection with an attack on a National Park Service employee in Bisbee.

The Cochise County Sheriff's Office released photos Tuesday of three men who were seen at Chiracahua National Monument south of Willcox in the days leading up to the assault.

Karen Gonzales, 60, was found unconscious in a picnic area restroom on Wednesday. The person who located the woman told sheriff's investigators that the victim appeared to have head trauma and it was unknown if she had fallen.

Another National Park Service worker told authorities that when they attempted to get the woman's belongings from her government vehicle, they could not locate it anywhere.

Sheriff's investigators tracked the woman's cell phone which was reportedly in the vehicle at the time it was stolen, said Cochise County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Carol Capas. The search led them to Douglas, where the vehicle was located at about 7 p.m.

The FBI assisted the sheriff's department in processing the vehicle.

Gonzales remains hospitalized in Tucson.

People with information about the crime or any or all of the "persons of interest" are asked to call the Cochise County Sheriff's Office at 520-432-9500. All information will remain confidential.
