PENDER COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Authorities in Pender County arrested two people Thursday during a narcotics investigation.
Officials say 17 bags of heroine were seized during the arrest.
According to the Pender County Sheriff's Office, Anthony Jamar Brinkley, of Castle Hayne, was charged with selling heroin, delivering heroin, possession with the intent to manufacture, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of heroin, manufacture schedule I controlled substance and felony conspiracy.
Brinkley was incarcerated in the Pender County Jail under a $100,000 secure bond.
Authorities say Da'rika Ameerah Bell, of Wilmington, was charged with felony conspiracy, possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession of schedule II controlled substance, conspire to sell heroin, conspire to deliver heroin, and maintaining a vehicle for use, storage or sale of a controlled substance.
Bell was incarcerated in the Pender County Jail under a $50,000 secure bond.
