Ashlea Kosikowski is an anchor at WECT and FOX Wilmington. She joined the news team in October 2010.
While reporting at WECT, Ashlea has been honored by the Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas for her work. The readers of Encore Magazine also voted her as one of the top three newscasters in Wilmington, alongside Frances Weller and Jon Evans.
Ashlea lives in Wilmington with her husband, Brian Parke, and their German Shepherd, Archie.
Before moving to Wilmington, Ashlea worked as a news reporter at WSOC-TV in Charlotte, North Carolina. While there, she was voted best local news reporter by the readers of Creative Loafing Magazine. Ashlea got her start in television news at WTOV-TV, in her hometown of Steubenville, Ohio.
Ashlea is an alumna of Ohio University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the prestigious E.W. Scripps School of Journalism. During college, she worked at WOUB-TV, a PBS affiliate.
In her spare time, Ashlea enjoys boating, traveling and spending time with friends and family, including her parents who visit for beach vacations from Ohio and her in-laws who recently retired to Ireland.
