CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WECT) - Police have made an arrest in connection to a hit-and-run accident that put one woman in the hospital.
Bromley has been arrested and charged with felony hit-and-run and fleeing the scene of an accident, according to Det. Moore with the Carolina Beach Police Department. He has been released on bond.
Police Chief Harry Humphries said Melissa Greenback of Fuquay-Varina was hurt in a golf car accident in the 800 block of Canal Drive on Saturday at about 1:40 a.m.
It's considered a hit-and-run because no other vehicles were at the scene when officers arrived, according to Humphries.
According to staff at New Hanover Regional Hospital, Greenback has been released from the hospital. At one point she had been listed in critical condition.
