Metro police say a Nashville man was responsible in at least four recent hotel robberies.
Alvin Combs, 24, of Rosa L. Parks Boulevard, is accused of wearing pantyhose over his face as he demanded cash at gunpoint from clerks in the robberies, each taking place in July.
He is suspected in robberies at the Super 8 Motel, on Charlotte Pike; Nashville Airport Inn & Suites on Atrium Way; Country Inn & Suites, on Rudy Circle; and Super 8 Motel on Royal Parkway.
Combs, who has been lodged in the Metro Jail since Aug. 1 on a charge of failure to appear in court, is now charged with four counts of aggravated robbery.
Bond for Combs was set at $320,000.
