BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – The Brunswick County Sheriff's Office is using new online technology to connect law enforcement with the community in an effort to reduce crime and improve public safety.
According to the sheriff's office, RAIDS Online is a crime map that helps the public get a better understanding of crime activity in specific areas. The map will also alert those who have opted in about recent crime activity.

"Our goal is to provide the community with as much information about crime in their area as possible.
