CHARGED: 4 people accused of making meth in Bladen Co.

WHITE LAKE, NC (WECT) – Officers with the White Lake Police Department have arrested several people accused of making meth.

According to officials, police responded to a call of suspicious activity on Leisure Lane. The woman who answered the door told officers she couldn't give them the name of the owner of the home.

Investigator Terry Fell with the White Lake Police Department said officers were able to eventually contact the owner and gained permission to check the residence.

Officers discovered a meth lab in a cabinet of the home during a routine sweep, according to Fell. Police said a search warrant was issued and the meth lab was processed.

According to the White Lake Police Department, the following people were inside and charged:

Brent Ray Jones, 31 of Lillington

  • 2 counts of manufacturing meth
  • 2 counts of possession of meth precursors
  • conspire to sell meth
  • maintaining a dwelling for controlled substance
  • possession of drug paraphernalia
  • possession of mass destruction
  • resisting a public officer
  • possession of a firearm by a felon
  • fictitious information to an officer
  • larceny of motor fuel
  • no operators license
  • operate a vehicle without insurance

Virginia Marie Osbourne, 20 of Erwin

  • manufacturing meth
  • possession of meth precursors
  • conspire to sell meth
  • maintaining a dwelling for controlled substance
  • felony conspiracy

Holly Leighann Bass, 20 of Dunn

  • manufacturing meth
  • possession of meth precursors
  • conspire to sell meth
  • maintaining a dwelling for controlled substance
  • possession of methamphetamine
  • possession of drug paraphernalia

Weston Don Flowers, 25 of Lillington

  • manufacturing meth
  • possession of meth precursors
  • conspire to sell meth
  • maintaining a dwelling for controlled substance
  • failure to appear
