Pizza delivery driver robbed at gunpoint

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Police are searching for a man accused of robbing a pizza delivery driver at gunpoint overnight.

According to police, a delivery driver for Domino's called 911 around midnight to report he had been robbed after completing a delivery in the 500 block of South Kerr Avenue.

The driver said he was approached by a man with a revolver as he was walking back to his car. The victim said the suspect took $20.

According to the driver, the suspect had a white shirt wrapped around his face during the robbery.

The Wilmington Police Department used officers and K9s in an effort to track down the suspect but were unable to locate him.
