MONROE COUNTY, MI (Toledo News Now) -
Four people were arrested after a series of business break-ins in Monroe County.
According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, around 4 a.m. Friday, an alarm went off at "Ice Cream Time," 3648 N Dixie Hwy, causing deputies to investigate.
Deputies located two suspects at Lee's Market, on Newport Rd.
Evidence, including a cash register, was located, connecting the subjects to the break-in.
Through interviews, deputies learned that the two suspects, along with two additional suspects, broke into Ice Cream Time, and attempted to break into Lee's Market in Newport, Dixie Party Store in South Rockwood and Ash Market in Carleton.
Four suspects are in custody at the Monroe County Jail on Breaking and Entering charges. Their names have not yet been released.
The Sheriff's Office provided the following description:
Suspect #1 is from Newport, MI, Age 24. Suspect #2 is from Newport, MI, Age 21. Suspect #3 is from Flatrock, MI, Age 22. Suspect #4 is from South Rockwood, MI, Age 21.
