Olsen, who had been on probation, remains in jail under a $25,000 bond, and police say some of the property stolen has been returned to the owners, the McGee family.
The McGees left their house on Wilshire Boulevard only for about an hour and a half on Tuesday.
When they returned, they found their home ravaged with many items missing, including three sets of golf clubs, two computers, and precious family jewelry.
Some of the stolen goods ended up at a local jewelry refinery.
