BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Deputies in Brunswick County arrested a mother and son Wednesday for charges related to stolen property.
This is the second time in less than two weeks that Kyle Pierce, 21, has been arrested. He was arrested last week for the possession of thousands of dollars worth of stolen lawn equipment.
Kyle Pierce is the owner and operator of East Coast Lawn Care out of the Southport and Boiling Spring Lakes area.
He's been charged with four counts of obtaining property false pretense and two counts of possession of stolen goods/property. The incidents for which he was charged took place between June 22 and July 18, a spokesperson for the sheriff's office said.
Tammie was charged with six counts of conspire commit felony larceny and two counts of aid and abet obtain property false pretense
Tammie was in the Brunswick County jail until Thursday, but she was released on a $2,500 bond. Kyle remains in jail under a $50,000 bond.
Authorities say additional charges are still pending, and that the approximate $170,000 in reported stolen property has been recovered.
