If you can't stand the heat, don't be an extra on 'Sleepy Hollow'

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – If you can't stand the heat, don't apply for a role as an extra on Sleepy Hollow.

The new FOX series is looking for background actors who can handle dressing for cold weather in the middle of summer.

According to a post from the group that's casting extras, the show is looking for men, women and children who will dress in period clothing from the 1700's.

Those who apply must be in great health in order to handle the heat.

The show is expected to film in New Bern on July 27 and 28.

The shoots will be overnight – and crews are expected to work until sunrise.

According to the post, the men and women should have longer hair.
