WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Even though he is in the NFL and plays for the Buffalo Bills, Jay Ross continues to give back to his community. The former New Hanover Wildcat hosting his 4th annual charity basketball game and skills camp the weekend of July 12 and 13.
The basketball game tips off 6 p.m. Friday, July 12, at Brogden Hall. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Proceed benefit the Wilmington Police Recreation Association.
Saturday, July 13 the Skills Camp will run from 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. at the MLK Center on Eighth Street in Wilmington.
Professional players scheduled to be at the basketball game on Friday, including Tampa Bay Buccaneers kicker Connor Barth, Terrence Cooper of the Kansas City Chiefs and Super Bowl champion Vonta Leach.
