More shootings reported in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - There were more reports of shootings in Wilmington Monday.

Wilmington Police say they found shell casings along Emory Street in the Creekwood area.

There are no reports that anyone was injured, but the gunfire is being investigated.

Police did not say whether this latest incident is related to a recent flurry of gang-related shootings.

Last week, local leaders and police joined together asking for a cease-fire to the gun violence.
