Brack Hardee passes away

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Brack Hardee, the son of legendary coach Buck Hardee died Saturday after a two-year fight with brain cancer at the age of 43.

Hardee, who graduated from New Hanover in 1988 played catcher for his dad Buck Hardee for the Wildcats. After high school Hardee played one year at Mount Olive, before transferring and playing one season at UNCW.

A service will be held July 2nd at the Pine Valley United Methodist Church starting at 4pm.
