BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – A woman whom officials with the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office had been searching for to question about area larcenies has been identified, a spokesperson for the sheriff's office confirms.
Authorities have drawn warrants for charges for Bonnie Mendola, 30, of North Myrtle Beach, SC. Those charges include obtaining property by false pretense and larceny from the person.
The charges come following separate incidents that took place at Turtle Crossing Cupcake Shop in Calabash and Bill's Seafood in Sunset Beach earlier this month.
Anyone with information on Mendola's whereabouts is asked to contact Tina Edwards at the sheriff's office at 910-880-4917, or the Sunset Beach Police Department.
