TYLER, TX (KLTV) -
A second suspect has turned himself in, and two others are still on the loose in connection with a Tyler motel murder last Saturday.
Monday morning, Lawrence Murphy turned himself into Tyler Police. He is held on a $1,000,000 bond. Authorities believe Murphy initially fled to Dallas after a warrant was issued for his arrest last Wednesday, before deciding to give himself up.
Last Friday, Darian Pilkinton turned himself into police and remains in the Smith County jail on a $750,000 bond.
Tyler police have also identified a third suspect in connection to the murder at the American Inn Motel as 34-year-old Michael Browning. Police issued an arrest warrant for Browning Monday, charging him with capital murder.
Investigators said they have also identified the fourth suspect in motel surveillance video, but will not release his identity until an arrest warrant is issued.
Authorities believe two of the men went into Wesley Scott Lester's motel room as part of a narcotics sale. They said the two other men waited outside the room as lookouts.
During the short time in the room, Lester was shot at least one time and killed.
Seven minutes later, surveillance video shows all four men running away from the scene.
Police responded to the homicide call two hours later, discovering Lester's body in his room.
