BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Investigators with the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office have arrested a man accused of murder and two others for drugs.

According to the sheriff's office, Randy Lee Anderson, 24 of Wilmington, is accused of shooting and killing Michael James Link, 23 of Leland.

Officers were responding to a shooting in the Deerwood Meadows community in Leland around 1:15 Monday morning when they found Link's body outside the mobile home park.

Officers with the Leland Police Department later apprehended Anderson, who ran from the mobile home park when law enforcement arrived.

The sheriff's office said Anderson, along with two others, was meeting with Link for an illegal drug sell.

Anderson was charged with murder, possession of a stolen firearm, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana and conspiracy to sell/deliver marijuana.

Courtney Renee Bryant, 19 of Leland and David Rashad Duncan, 22 of Wilmington, were both also charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana and conspiracy to sell/deliver marijuana.
