WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Officers with the Wilmington Police Department are investigating reports of shots fired into a house Thursday morning.

According to police someone called 911 saying someone fired shots into a home in the 1000 block of Emory Street. Police said no one was hit by a bullet during the shooting.

Dispatch officials said the suspects jumped out of a car and ran towards the New Center and McClellan Drive areas.

No other details have been released at this time.
