Troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol's Special Response Team, along with investigators from the Columbus Division of Police's Narcotics Bureau, dismantled a hydroponic marijuana grow operation in the city of Columbus. Three female suspects were arrested and charged in the bust.
Investigators simultaneously executed search warrants on two residences located at 5002 Cheviot Drive and 5530 Olentangy River Road in the city Monday. Both residences were suspected of conducting indoor marijuana grow operations.

Louvena S. Collins, 43, Rachel Ann Whaley, 23, and Jamie Lynn Jordan, 21, all of Columbus, were incarcerated in the Franklin County Jail. Collins and Whaley were charged with aggravated possession of marijuana, a third-degree felony, and Jordan was charged with aggravated trafficking in marijuana, a third-degree felony.
If convicted, each woman could face up to five years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine.
