WEATHER: Slightly cooler temps. for the weekend; slight chance of storm

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) –A bit more cloud clover and ocean influence will keep a lid on temperatures this weekend; however with high pressure just off shore, temperatures will remain warm.

A mix of sun and clouds Saturday as an upper level low draws closer to the area. Highs will climb into the low 80s with a small chance (20%) of an isolated storm this afternoon and evening, due to a sea breeze front, but most of us will stay dry.

Tonight, clouds will increase and lows will fall into the upper 60s. An isolated (20%) storm is possible.

Shower/storm chances will increase Sunday (30%) as the upper level low moves east. Clouds will increase just ahead of this system as well. Highs will remain in the low 80s.
