State and local leaders take a stand for public education
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Former state superintendent Bob Etheridge led an energy charged press conference at the Robert Strange pool in support of public education.
Etheridge and several other local and
state officials including former New Hanover County Board of Education member
Elizabeth Redenbaugh spoke about the dangers of budget cuts and right wing
policy changes affecting public education.
This is the sixth stop for Etheridge,
as he is taking part in a statewide tour with Public Schools First NC.
