Signs of summer! City pools to open soon

Wilmington City pools will open to the public on Memorial Day weekend. Wilmington City pools will open to the public on Memorial Day weekend.

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Splash into summer! The city pools in Wilmington are opening Memorial Day weekend.

The Legion Stadium Pool, Robert Strange Pool and Northside Pool and Splash Pad are all handicap accessible and have bath houses and restrooms.  Lifeguards are on duty at all times.

Admission is $1 for children, $2 for adults.

Hours of operation:

LEGION POOL – 2131 Carolina Beach Road, 341-7863

The pool will be open:
Saturday, May 25: 12 - 5 pm
 Monday, May 27th (Memorial Day): 12 - 5 pm
Saturday, June 1st & 8th:   12 - 5 pm

Beginning June 10 the pool will be open:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday:  1 pm - 5 pm
Wednesday: 1 - 6 pm
Saturday:  12 - 5 pm

The pool will be open:
Saturday, May 25: 12 - 5 pm
 Monday, May 27th (Memorial Day): 12 - 5 pm
 Saturday, June 1st & 8th: 12 - 5 pm

Saturday:  12 - 5 pm

The pool will be open:
Saturday, May 25: 12 - 5 pm

Season:  May 25, 2013 - September 3, 2013 (weather permitting)

Regular Splash Pad hours:
Monday - Sunday:  8 am - 8 pm

Free of charge
