GLENDALE, AZ (CBS5) -

Police are looking for a 28-year-old man who they say is a person of interest in his friend's murder.

The Glendale Police Department said on April 18, Fernando "Frankie" Portillo, 33, was found dead in his Glendale home in the area of 6400 W. Hatcher Rd.

Through their investigation, Glendale detectives identified Jacob Lee Medina, of Glendale, as a person of interest in the murder. Medina and Portillo had been friends for more than 10 years and were also working together in the weeks leading up to Portillo's death.

Medina was reported missing by his family and friends who last had contact with him on April 17.

Glendale police are asking anyone with information on Medina to call the police department at 623-930-3173 or call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
