So the northeasterly winds bringing cloudy to mostly cloudy conditions will once again keep temperatures into the low 70s this afternoon.
Also like yesterday, there is just enough moisture moving onshore today that a few light showers are possible especially for coastal locations.
Yesterday between 3:00 and 5:00pm we picked up on just under .01" at the official recording station at ILM. We could see similar conditions briefly today, but again I'd be surprised if any spot collected more than a tenth (.10") of an inch.
Conditions will dry and clear some as we go into the weekend with mostly sunny to sunny skies expected under an area of high pressure that will continue to tap cooler northeasterly winds. Highs will move into the mid 70s, but not much warmer. Very nice weather for outdoor activities.
