Goodness galoshes. Showers and thunderstorms are going to be the norm throughout the day as a broad upper level disturbance moves slowly across the area. While not likely to cause severe weather - some big rainfall totals are possible as an inch or better ma fall over the course of the next 24 hours as moisture streams into the region.
It looks like things will dry slightly for Tuesday into Wednesday as this system moves off of our coast – however some of the weather forecast models point to that broad area of low pressure, allowing it to organize off of our coastline bringing shower and bring thunderstorm chances to the are again through the latter part of the week.
With the added cloud cover our temperatures will continue to run a few degrees below normal for the remainder of the week.
