WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Tony Stark fans in the Port City, have no fear – it looks like Iron Man 3 will be soaring into Mayfaire Mayfaire Stadium 16 after all following a deal reached between Disney and Regal Entertainment Group.

Previously, it had been announced that the flick, one of the biggest ever filmed in the Wilmington area, may not be coming to one of the area's biggest theaters.

According to the LA Times, Mayfaire Stadium 16's parent company, Regal Entertainment Group, had been in a dispute with Disney over the cut of the movie sales the cinema would get. The article said the company had already pulled marketing materials and stopped selling pre-sale tickets to its theaters across the country, which included the cinema at the Mayfaire Town Center.

However, Thursday afternoon, a vice president with Regal Cinemas announced that the company reached a deal with Disney to show the movie.

Regal officials say they're working overtime now to put tickets back on sale.
