WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Filming for the NBC show Revolution wrapped in Wilmington a few weeks ago. Now the question on everyone's mind is will there be a second season, and will it be filmed in Wilmington?

Giancarlo Esposito plays Maj. Tom Neville on the show. WECT's Kim Ratcliff had a chance to interview him Tuesday and asked if he had heard anything about future filming locations.

"We've heard that our numbers are good and we have a great fan base and people really are enjoying the show, so it's been eluded to that we will be coming back but we no one knows until May 13," explained Esposito. "We hope and we pray that we are coming back, and we also hope and pray that we will be coming back to Wilmington."

Esposito also said he hopes they have a chance to film again in Wilmington.

"We've had such a great experience this season with all of our crew who are such beautiful people but are also excellent filmmakers," said Esposito. "I also like the downtown area the great restaurants great beach 20 minutes away. I happen to live downtown just great Southern hospitality so we'll cross our fingers that we're coming back."

Revolution airs Monday night at 10 p.m. on WECT.
