WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Another windy and unseasonably cool day is expected today as a weak coastal low pressure center moves up the North Carolina coastline. It looks like most (if any) shower activity will only have an impact on the coast as we head throughout the late afternoon and evening hours. Expect the breezy conditions to continue under mostly cloudy skies with high temperatures struggling into the mid 60.
High seas will also be an issue with this coastal storm as heavy surf and dangerous rip currents will impact the beaches through Tuesday.
High temperatures will return to the low 70s with a slight shower chance Thursday evening.
