State Route 72 reopens after semi trailer rolls

PHOENIX (CBS5) -

State Route 72 re-opened Thursday morning after a semi trailer rolled over, closing most of the highway in western Arizona.

The closure started about 5 a.m. 10 miles east of Parker at State Route 95 and extended about 33 miles east of Vicksburg, according to Garin Groff of the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The route was reopened about 7 a.m.

A Department of Public Safety spokesman said only the trailer rolled and there were no injuries.

For current information about highway closures and restrictions statewide, visit ADOT's Travel Information Site at www.az511.gov or call 511.
