WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Three young men were arrested early Saturday morning after they were caught breaking into Mad Mike's Scooters on Carolina Beach Road in Wilmington.

According to police, officers caught Quinton Markee Sanders, 16, and Artez Tremayne Williams, 16, inside the business when they arrived.

They said bold cutters had been used to get in through the chained back fence and also into the merchandise container.

The person who called 911 told dispatchers they thought a third person was with the teens and may have climbed the fence to escape.

According to police, another officer made contact with Myron Lagrant Sanders, 21, who was inside a vehicle parked at Holy Ground Coffee Shop which is next door to the scooters business.

Police said the vehicle had two gas cans inside. It was determined Myron and Quinton are brothers.

All three young men were charged with breaking and entering and conspiracy to commit a felony.
