ELIZABETHTOWN, NC (WECT) - Cleveland Browns defensive tackle Desmond Bryant and his family have donated athletic equipment to Bryant's alma mater East Bladen high school.

Bryant supplied the football team with medicine balls, tackling sleds, power bands, parachutes and other Nike Sparq equipment.

Brenton Bryant, Desmond's younger brother and fellow East Bladen graduate, is a member of the football coaching staff and was on hand to make the donation Monday.

Last month Bryant signed a new five year, $34 million deal with the Cleveland Browns.  In his final season with the Raiders Bryant put up four sacks with 11 quarterback hits and 20 hurries -- his 35 total pressures ranked him fourth among all qualifying defensive tackles.
