WEATHER: When cool is not cool

Here we go again.  I'm probably more tired of talking about it than you are of hearing about it, but the message is the same – more cool temperatures are moving in for the next few days.

How cool Colin?  Well, normal for this time of year is 71F for the highs and 48F for the lows.  Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we will barely bump above 60F for the afternoon high temperatures with lows driving to the low 40s and upper 30s. That's right.  Another three days of temperatures running 10 degrees or better below normal.

Changes to the cool forecast will come on Thursday afternoon through Friday as an area of low pressure advances north out of the Gulf of Mexico bringing widespread (and perhaps heavy) rain to the region overnight.

Warmer temperatures will ride on the heels of this system.  The exact track of this storm, whether it is just off shore, or perhaps just inland, will have a big impact on the forecast as far as just how wet it will be.

Keep it with WECT and for the latest.
