PARMA HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) -

19 Action News was first to report the arrest of a jail guard behind a huge pot bust. Now there is new information in the case.

The investigation stems from 26 pounds of pot that was found in a dryer in February in a Parma Heights apartment complex.

The crime scene appears strange, not because of what police found, but because of what they didn't find.

The police found no sign of Cuyahoga County jail guard Jennifer McGinness in her leased Parma Heights apartment. Not even furniture.

Did she actually live there? Investigators say the water bill was only $5.00 and records show the rent is paid with money orders.

McGuiness was arrested and charged with drug trafficking. There are suspicions that this rented place is a front to stash the drugs.

Police did find some evidence within the apartment that could help tie Jennifer McGinness or others to the apartment and the drugs. There are toothbrushes that are being tested for DNA.

In the meantime McGinness has another address in Cleveland.

19 Action News went to the Cleveland address last month. A woman answered the door claiming not to be Jennifer.
