WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Big Dawg's newest play takes a closer look at the American family and the function, and dysfunction, they all come with.

The show is called Morning's at Seven, written by Paul Osborn.

Four sisters and their husbands all live in the same area, in some cases even in the same house.

While finally meeting the fiance of one of the family members for the first time in 12 years, the siblings face a number of issues including fights with spouses and secret agreements.

It's a reminder that all families have their foibles.

"We're constantly bombarded with how bad or how eccentric or how crazy other people's families are that we forget about our own," said artistic director Steve Vernon. "But it's a good way to view that and view the tensions that it can create amongst family members but in a very lighthearted and fun way to watch."
