BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Detectives in Leland are looking for a second person they believe were involved in a home invasion that took place March 21, according to a press release from the Leland Police Department.
According to Lt. Pierce, the incident took place along Greensview Circle, and credit cards, a cell phone and a purse were among the items taken.
Leland Police Detectives are searching for and have charges pending on Torie Nesbitt for robbery with a dangerous weapon, two charges of assault by pointing a gun, first degree burglary, and larceny after breaking and entering.
Officials say Nesbitt is considered to be armed and dangerous. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the police department, (910) 371-1100.
A 14-year-old was arrested earlier this week in connection to the crime and was charged with first degree burglary.
