
A crowd gathered at Creekwood South Friday morning to celebrate its grand reopening.WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – A crowd gathered at Creekwood South Friday morning to celebrate its grand reopening.
Representatives from the community, state and local governments were at the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The Wilmington Housing Authority redeveloped the 198 units at Creekwood South on Emory Street using Low Income Housing Tax Credits awarded by the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency and ARRA funds awarded by Housing and Urban Development.
According to a press release, the total development cost for Creekwood South was $18 million.
